Been watching the Tigers at the College World Series this week, and it doesn't get better then this for a baseball fan. The things this team has accomplished this year are flat out amazing. Watch the final 10 minutes of the Rice game here. As a TV director, I must say this was some horrible direction as he cuts away to the relay and you don't even see the winning run score, then you miss a lot of LSU's euphoric celebration be going to close-ups of stunned Rice players. Euugh. Shitty director. And here's their comeback win in the Super Regional vs. UC Irvine.
Also, Three Doors Down's new song "Not My Time" is pretty good, but it rocks so much more when layed over some baseball highlights, and it's become the unofficial theme song of this CWS. I'm sure the video for the song blows, as do ALL 3 Doors Down videos, mostly because they are the ugliest band in America. They should just use the CWS clips as the official video. I think I need that song now. On to iTunes!
